Title : Midlate Varietal Trial - 1990.

Author : Optimum Time of Application of Nitrogen to Early Maturing Varieties.

Year : 1990-91

The experiment was conducted to know the optimum time of N application to recently introduced early maturing varieties. The experiment was laidout with 14 different combinations of application time along with two varieties i.e CoC 671 and Co 8011. The design was RBD with three replications. The analysis of experiment data (Table 3 A&B) indicated that there was no difference in yield of cane or quality due to time of nitrogen application. However variety CoC 671 had significantly higher pol % juice compared to Co 8011.
