The juice analysis showed that varieties CoC 8201, CoT 8201, CoA 8401, Co 8013 and CoC 8001 had higher pol than standards CoC 671 and Co 7704 at 9 and 10 months crop age. Only CoC 8201 recorded slightly higher pol than CoC 671 at 11 months in December. None of the varieties could out perform variety CoC 671 in yield. CoC 8201, CoC 8001 and CoA 8401 have recorded yield on par with Co 7704. Sugar yield per hectare was found to be higher in CoC 671 followed by CoA 8401, CoC 8201, CoC 8001, CoA 8201 and Co 7704.
