Tata Energy Research Institute : work

The TERI teams of Bangalore and New Delhi have taken energy survey in 25 villages near by GSM. Preparation of village maps for 24 villages is completed. Survey of family details is continued. We have trained our staff for this work.



Tailoring Training for Women

We have opened 5 training centres in tailoring for rural ladies in the following villages :
  1. Handigund
  2. Dhavaleshwar
  3. Kesaragoppa
  4. Mugalkhod
  5. SOC Colony Sameerwadi

Pravanchana & Cultural programme

We have organized Pravachana programme in the following villages :
  1. Sameerwadi
  2. Palabhavi
  3. Handigund
  4. Belgali
  5. Chimmad
  6. Dhavaleshwar
Shri Sahajanand Swamiji of Mahalingpur, Shri Baijanath Buva of Mumbai and Smt. Gayatri Devi of Mumbai gave Pravachana.



 Literacy Programme

We had organized Literacy programme in the following 5 villages of Factory Circle.
  1. Palabhavi
  2. Bisanal
  3. Handigund
  4. Saidapur
  5. Dhavaleshwar
About 100 villages attended the classes. At present Dhavaleshwar and SOC Sameerwadi Centres are working. Dharwad Agri College NSS student also conducted Literacy Classes during their camp in March 1999.
